Here’s where you do some homework.
1. Listen to wedding music. Go to wedding music websites or listen to recordings.
Below are a few examples to get you started.
String Quartet excerpts:

Write down your favorites for each section of the ceremony:
a. Preludes – mood music for the guests - pick a style
b. Processional – for Bride and Bridal party
c. Service music, if any
d. Recessional
3. Have this list ready for our email or live consultation on your musical choices.
Cocktail hour/reception
1. Consider the setting: intimate? elegant? contemporary?
2. Then choose a style of music: Classical? Jazz? Folk? Broadway? Or a combination?
3. Note any specific requests.
Corporate and private events
1. What is the nature of the event?

3. Be sure to relay the structural shape of the event, e.g., where speaking and presentations take place.
